Try Gardenia's flavored loaves with a twist

Gardenia has been a very popular brand when it comes to freshly made loaf breads and pastries. It has been part of our grocery list for, I think, a decade already and we still love their Classic White Bread and my personal favorite, the Chocolate Chip Loaf which I secretly munched on when I was still pregnant. :)

We've also tried out their bread loaves with a twist of flavors such as the Black Forest, Double Delights: Strawberry and Blueberry and Butterscotch.

My parents loved the chocolate twirls mixed with bits of cherry on this soft and moist bread. Definitely a great snack with a coffee on the side.

This colorful bread made out of strawberry and blueberry fillings and fruit bits was a huge hit with the kids.

I truly liked this caramel flavored bread with butterscotch bits and I must say that it is a bit addictive. What's more exciting is that you can use this variant to create a Gardenia Butterscotch Mango Sans Rival. You just need to prepare:

  • 3 pcs of Butterscotch bread
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp ripe mango, sliced
  • 1 tbsp nuts, chopped
  • 2 pcs chocolate bars
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp evaporated milk

Take 3pcs of butterscotch bread and trim the sides. Combine the butter, evaporated milk and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread the butter cream mixture on the bread then put slices of mango on top and sprinkle the chopped nuts. Stack all the breads then spread butter cream on the sides as well and apply nuts. Chill overnight.

Try out this very easy recipe and let you and your family enjoy a DIY Butterscotch Mango Sans Rival.
