Brian McKnight Live in Kia Theatre!

4:43:00 PM

I grew up singing Brian McKnight's One Last Cry on karaokes with matching sad face and teary eyes and office mates ask me to sing a few lines when boredom strikes at work, so when I heard about his upcoming concert here in our country, I got really excited.

This world-renowned platinum recording artist and multi-awarded singer/songwriter and producer is currently on a world tour to promote his newest studio album entitled "Better", and Manila is one of the cities that he'll be visiting. His new album will feature 12 relatable and touching songs soulfully crafted with Hawaiian vocalist Kimie Miner, rapper Glasses Moses and guitarists Chris Loftin and Tyrone Chase.

“I’m taking it back to basics,” Brian explains. “Creating music like we did 20 years ago – completely organic, all real instruments. The truth is, I’m in love and love makes us better, it makes us come alive, and I wanted to convey that through this album in a very relatable, authentic way.”

I'm pretty sure everyone knows Brian McKnight, but for those who have no idea who this very talented man is, he started of his musical career back in 1992 when he released his eponymous album which featured his highest-charting single, "One Last Cry" and "Anytime" whose music video was nominated for Best Male Video at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards. He was nominated 16 times in the Grammy and won awards from the Soul Train Awards, American Music Awards and Billboard Songwriter of the Year. His most notable album, Back at One, sold over 3 million copies.

He also collaborated with different artists including Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, P. Diddy, Christina Aguilera, Rascal Flatts, Nelly, Vanessa Williams, Willie Nelson and Kenny G which allowed him to constantly evolve and improve as an artist.

This coming June 20, 2016, let Brian McKnight serenade you with his soulful music on a one night concert at Kia Theatre. Tickets are now available at Ticketnet Website. Get yours now!
