Cars is back and Lightning McQueen is ready to hit the road in full speed as SM Cinema, in partnership with The Walt Disney Company Philippines showcased a grand launch event at SM North The Block Atrium last July 19, 2017.

Thanks to sir John for the invite, I had the chance to be part of this exciting event in celebration of the third installment of Disney Pixar's Cars which will be shown in all SM Cinemas nationwide on July 26, 2017.

During the event, they revealed exclusive Cars 3 toys and collectibles by Mattel that will surely make your kids go crazy over them. Items include Cars 3 characters controlled by downloading an application on your smart phones, limited edition die cast cars as well as a surprise bag which were given to us that day plus a cute Mater Key chain.

To make the event even more exciting, former racing champ and three-time Karter of the Year awardee, Mr. Matteo Guidicelli, graced the event and helped in unveiling the life-size replica of Lightning McQueen.

Lightning McQueen will be staying at SM North The Block Atrium until July 26, 2017 and will drive around the metro on these scheduled dates:

S Maison - July 28 to August 8
SM South Mall - August 10 to August 20
SM City Fairview - August 22 to September 3

After the launch, we were treated to an exclusive premiere of Cars 3 in 3D with matching red carpet!

It was a fun movie that all the kids and even the kids-at-heart will surely enjoy. Although I was a bit teary-eyed at some scenes!
