One of the largest home appliance brands in Europe has finally arrived in the country! Beko, who provides innovative and reliable range of kitchen and home appliances, had been in the Philippines since July 2015 and is currently exclusively available at SM Appliance Stores. Known to create innovative products that cater the needs of different people, culture and way of life, Beko continuously thinks about what items to offer to customers which are resource-efficient and environmentally friendly with superior technologies and stylish design.

This year, Beko Philippines launched their Facebook Page and to this date, they already have 23,000 fans and is continuously growing. This has been their platform to communicate with customers and target clientele, showcase their products and provide information on how Beko can be the official partner of the everyday of Filipinos. They also share Smart tips such as how to reduce food wastage and how to keep food fresh.

Besides their social media presence, Beko Philippines has also been actively campaigning its global Premium partner, FC Barcelona featuring Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., Gerard Piqué, Luis Suárez and Andrés Iniesta. They've been showing everyone how they work, inspire and support each other in the field and at home. 

To strengthen Beko Philippines' Facebook Page as well as their partnership with FC Barcelona, they launched the promo "Kick Your Way to Barcelona: The Beko Grand Kick-Off Challenge" which was open to everyone who has a valid passport (except for professional football players). 



The promo ran from December 1, 2016 to January 7, 2017 and the chosen contestants were invited to the Grand Kick-Off Challenge last January 14, 2017 at the Sparta Sports and Recreational Training Arena. I was also there as a blogger, thanks to Ms. Adae for giving me the opportunity to be part of the event.




Each participant will be given 3 attempts within 1 minute to try and kick the ball inside a customized mock up washing machine goal from a designated distance of 20 feet. If more than 10 players will be able to accomplish the task, a knockout phase will take place where the contestants with the most number of goals proceed to the final round.



It was an intense day for the participants as they concentrate in every kick they made to score and secure a spot at the grand finals. During the elimination round, only 7 moved on to the grand finals, but they informed everyone that the other contestants will still have the chance to be part of the Top 10 grand finalists.

Top 7 Grand Finalists

The Top 7 were given a specially designed BEKO FC Barcelona Gym Bag as their prize for advancing to the finale. Then on the grand finals which will also be held at the Sparta Philippines which is the country's only indoor football pitch on February 10, 2017, finalists will have to kick the ball into the goal and the contestant with the most number of goals will be declared as the grand winner. If ever there will be a tie, the shoot around with 3 attempts and one minute limit shall be repeated until one emerges as the grand winner. 

Winner will receive one plane ticket to Barcelona, Spain, a ticket to an FC Barcelona match at Camp Nou, hotel accommodations and a city tour. 


During the grand finals, another promotion called: “Witness the Victory 2.0!” Experience Camp Nou and Enjoy Barcelona for Free, will give two lucky Beko customers a round trip ticket to Barcelona, Spain, a ticket to watch an FC Barcelona match on April 2017, hotel accommodations with breakfast and a city tour.
