8 Cuts Burger Blends

Jayvee and I wanted to try newly opened restaurants found at the SM Megamall’s Mega Fashion Hall and since it was a Saturdate, we decided to dine in one of these restaurants.

We saw a lot of people standing outside 8 Cuts Burger Blends so we checked out what they were falling in line for. We borrowed their menu and these are what they have in store for everyone:

After reading about all of these mouthwatering snacks, we finally decided to eat there. We then waited in line together with the other hungry people crowding in front of the restaurant. After 20 minutes, we were ushered to our table and the server took our orders.

Our burgers were served 30 minutes after ordering, but the fries and milkshake were still nowhere in sight.

Piggy – P245.00
The Piggy is a quarter-pounder BEEF BOMB BLEND (chuck + short rib) patty with mozzarella, fried bacon strips, house-made bacon jam, lollo rossa greens (lettuce), tomatoes and garlic aioli placed between two Sesame Seed Buns. This was too huge for my mouth so I had to use a knife and a fork to eat this. :p The patty was full of flavor so I really didn’t add anything on my burger. I love the melted mozzarella and nothing could go wrong with a burger containing fried bacon strips.

Double Cheese Burger – P285.00
The double cheese burger is composed of two HOUSE BLEND (short rib + rib eye) all-beef patty with lollo rossa greens (lettuce), american cheddar, sliced tomatoes, onions and sauce #3 (BurgerBar’s original house dressing) placed between two Sesame Seed Buns. Jayvee just added a bit of his favorite hot sauce on his burger and it was all good. The patty was a bit dry for me compared to the Piggy’s patty, but it was also flavorful in its own unique way.

We also ordered skinny fries and a Salted Caramel Shake that arrived minutes before we finished our burgers T_T Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take a picture of the fries and shake, so here are some photos I grabbed from my fellow bloggers.

Skinny Fries costs P45.00 while the Salted Caramel Shake (12oz) costs P150.00. The fries were plain with just a dash of pepper and salt to taste, but you could pay for add-ons such as bacon, cheese, egg or chilis. We opted not to get add-ons since they were a bit pricey, ranging from P70.00 – P125.00 depending on what add-ons you choose. As for the Salted Caramel Shake…… Holy Shake! It was a bit sweet but definitely tastes AMAZING! We had to place it somewhere unseen so that we won’t be tempted to drink it all up in an instant. lol Again, this was a bit pricey for a 12oz shake but I highly recommend this ^^

All in all it was a good experience and we’ll surely visit 8 Cuts Burger Blends soon since we still have a lot of burgers and shakes to try that looks delicious just by reading their descriptions on their menu. But make sure to have a budget of at least P500.00/person since their burgers are a bit expensive compared to other restaurants that also specializes in great tasting burgers. ^^

  5. 8 Cuts just opened too in Alabang Town Center. Their concept kind of reminds me of BRGR Project. I have yet to try 8 Cuts Burger - seems like a good place to bring the entire family :)

  6. I tried 8 cuts only once. I forgot what I ordered already. Their serving is a bit small, though or maybe I'm just really on the binge mode during that time. ahhaha!

  10. When you're out of town, it is more challenging to fall in line to food center and join with the hungry crowd ordering their fave foods. My wife and I are doing that every time we visit the capital city here in our place.

  11. Oooh, went to SM Megamall a couple of weeks ago and walked around the Fashion Hall but missed 8 Cuts Burger Blend. Would love to try out their Lamb and The Franch patties, been dying to eat lamb for quite some time now! :)

  12. This burger definitely doesn't look bite size! Humongous~ Do you have to cut it or do you eat it like macdonald's burger?

  13. Always wanted to try this but waiting for someone to say if the expensive prices are worth it. The 30 minutes wait time is also so long for someone hungry. The late milkshake is also a bummer.

  15. I haven't tried their burgers because whenever I pass by outside the restaurant, I look at the posters and think that there's really no way for me to finish one entire order of burger. I need to share it with someone. :)

  17. The burgers are really pricey indeed. I hope they will improve their serving time because of the price of their products. I mean, it would be okay to pay higher than usual for a good food and a quicker service. But if I still have to wait for a long time, I think I'd go somewhere else.
