Last April 22, 2016, Hotel Sogo, the largest hotel chain in the country, invited the media and bloggers for their first ever Media Thanksgiving Party at the Sky Bar Grill and Restaurant, Quezon City. This is also a way for them to let everyone know about their newest campaigns and projects which are their Brand Reinvention, Doctor on Wheels Program and Digital Film Contest.

A lot of you might have seen their Go! Go! Sogo! campaign in reinventing the Hotel Sogo brand through posters, radio and TVCs that aims to encourage everyone to patronize their hotel for bonding, relaxation and different types of celebration for the whole family. With exquisite features at affordable rates, customers get to enjoy free Wi-fi access, cable TV with in-house movie channel, digital music system, 24-hour food and beverage service, etc.

“In our series of recent TV and radio commercials, we let our customers know that Hotel Sogo is for everybody, for all occasions and for all walks of life,” said Sue Geminiano, Hotel Sogo, Marketing Manager.

They also introduced their Doctors on Wheels (DOW) Program that extends help to different under-served communities throughout our country by rendering free medical consultations and giving out prescribed medications. With a mobile medical bus equipped and furnished with 4 examining beds, 10 examining chairs, medical examination lights and other equipment and with competent medical staff composed of volunteer doctors, social workers, nurses, pharmacist and Hotel Sogo personnel, DOW truly provides help to those who cannot afford to have their medical concerns checked.

Since Hotel Sogo started its operation, they have strive and have committed to delivering important service to the Filipinos,” adds Ms. Geminiano. Since the inception of DOW in 2015, about 3000 indigent residents have already benefited from the program.

Lastly, Hotel Sogo launched a digital film contest for amateur and professional film makers throughout the country. The contest aims to help individuals convey their creativity and imagination through digital film wherein 3 entries will be chosen and will receive a cash prize of P100k (1st prize), P70k (2nd prize) and P50k (3rd prize).

For those interested to join the Digital Film Contest, mechanics and guidelines will be posted on Hotel Sogo's Website and if you want to be updated on their events and promos, you can follow them on their social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
