Once again, Nissan Philippines Inc raised the bar for our country's Pick-up Truck market as it launched the new Nissan Navara Sports Edition last May 12, 2016 at Nissan North EDSA. 

It is the newest model to join the Nissan vehicle lineup which is an upgraded version of Nissan Navara, 2015's Truck of the Year.

Let me give you bits and pieces as to what upgrades were made to the new Nissan Navara Sports Edition:

1. Stylish and Sporty Exterior: With the Nissan Navara's already tough exterior styling, the Sports Edition features upgraded design elements that creates a tougher and sportier look. It now has a unique honeycomb front grille that will immediately deliver a striking appearance. A new front skirt, fog lamps, side step and rear bumper were wrapped in a new dark chrome finish making it look bolder than ever.


A durable under rail bed liner and a new sport roll bar with LED lamp were installed to emphasize the truck's sportiness and to complete its tougher and sporty appearance, 18 inch allow wheels that can take on any terrain were used.



2. Premium and Comfortable Interiors: The Inside of this sporty truck are new premium leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob, armrest and door trims. Comfort of every passenger, as well as the driver, is important that's why they further enhanced Nissan's iconic air-cooling system with rear vents, premium sound system and ergonomically designed seats. 



Just like the Nissan Navara, the Sports Edition has the Zero-Gravity inspired seats for the driver and the passenger offering superior spinal support that can really help reduce fatigue during long drives.

3. Tough and Smart Performance: It has a first-in-class Multi link suspension system on a truck that provides a car-like riding and driving comfort. Equipped with a DOHC inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine with Variable Turbocharger (VGS) and Intercooler and with a number of variants to meet each driver's specific needs.



The Nissan Navara Sports edition is available in Riptide Blue ans Aspen White and in the following variants in all Nissan Dealerships nationwide: 2.5L 4x4 VL 7AT priced at Php 1,656,000 and 2.5L 4x2 EL 7AT Calibre at Php 1,275,000.
