Tired of the usual staycation where you've got nothing else to do but watch TV, eat, swim and sleep all day? You might want to try out one of Zoomanity Group's Theme Park, the Residence Inn Tagaytay.



Located at Km. 65 Tagaytay City, the Residence Inn offers modern room accommodation, a budget-friendly restaurant with a breathtaking view of the Taal Lake, 3D Movie, Animal and Magic Show, Playground, Wall Climbing, Outdoor Laser Tag, Horseback Riding, Zipline and a Mini Zoo. 



After our tour at Paradizoo Theme Farm, we went straight to Residence Inn to check out what they have in store for their visitors. Again, we were very lucky to be part of this tour because we got to meet the owner of Yupangco Group of Companies and Zoomanity Group, Mr. Robert Yupangco, together with his most trusted staff. We were supposed to have a short meeting over snacks to discuss some of his plans to create other theme parks in the country but we were not yet complete when he arrived at the gazebo & view deck restaurant so we decided to roam around the mini zoo.



You will find different fishes, turtles, snakes, scorpions, spiders, roaches, iguana and other creepy crawlies at the Serpentarium. This is not for the faint-hearted, but don't you worry, as they are all enclosed on huge glass aquariums. 

Once you step out of the Serpentarium, you will find yourself at the Show Area where Magic and Animal Shows take place complete with comfortable seats and a decorated stage. It also has a great view of the Taal Lake. 



There are a 2 restaurants inside the Residence Inn, one is at the Gazebo and the other is located at the View Deck:



After a light snack and a very informative discussion with Mr. Robert Yupangco and company, we then tried the Superman Zipline and the Cable Car, unfortunately I wasn't able to get a photo of my experience. I was really scared to try the Zipline at first because I consider myself an acrophobic, but I managed to give it a go and yes, it is really terrifying. On the other hand, I enjoyed the Cable Car. After the ride, you can purchase a souvenir photo at the designated booth.

Lastly, we checked out the outdoor mini zoo complete with a lot of tigers, birds, monkeys, horse, crocodile and a camel:


If you want to bring something home as a souvenir, there are shops all over Residence Inn with so many cute stuffed toys like these:


Definitely a great place to bond with your family! Kids would really enjoy seeing a lot of animals and even get to touch some of them through the Animal Encounter or even ride a horse. If the weather does not permit, there are a lot of indoor activities to choose from like the 3D Movies, Magic Shows, etc. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a photo of their rooms, but if interested, you may visit their Website and add them on their social media accounts to get updates on events and promos: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube.

Have you ever felt that moment when you just want to take a break from your busy and stressful workplace and get away from the hustle and bustle of your city life? Then, a visit at Paradizoo Theme Farm is something I would definitely recommend! Located at Km. 63 Panungyan Mendez Cavite, Paradizoo Theme Farm is one of Zoomanity Group's theme parks that will let you be one with nature, as you breathe fresh air, appreciate flowers and plants and interact with different farm animals.

Thanks to Ms. Grace of Tag Media and to Ms. Karren of Zoomanity Group for inviting me to visit Paradizoo Theme Park last July 16, 2016 together with my Pinoy Blogger family. There were a lot of people present at that time because it was the second day of the 4th Farm Tourism Conference which is a special seminar that teaches how to integrate tourism and agriculture and to inspire local farmers to explore new possibilities in generating income. We first had a courtesy call with the owner of Zoomanity Group, Mr. Yupangco at the Paradizoo Cafe and then we started our tour around the 12 hectare farm.



We first went to the Farm Animal Zoo where you can feed bunnies and guinea pigs by purchasing a carrot on a stick. You get to see a lot of hen and roosters, duck, miniature horse, wild hog, goat, ostrich and even camels. You will also be able to meet Voltes V, the 5-legged albino carabao, unfortunately, he was not in the mood to show off his extra leg as he was sitting the whole time we were near him. 



The next area we visited was the Flower Garden, Bonsai Garden and the Vegetable Farm. Kids will love the Flower Garden especially the one arranged to be a humongous flower, a chess board and Snow White and the 7 dwarfs statue displays:



Zoomanity Group's Bonsai expert, Mr. Atish Dipankar Sarker from Bangladesh, is very much available for interview to answer queries all about Bonsai. There are displays at the Bonsai Garden but the most beautiful and oldest bonsai collection they have are displayed at their Midori Japanese Restaurant that can be exclusively accessed by Alabang Country Club members only.

A vast pineapple plantation can be seen prior to reaching the entrance of the Vegetable Farm. Once you are inside, you'll be seeing familiar vegetables that are included in the famous Filipino song "Bahay Kubo".



We then had a light lunch at one of the venue area in Paradizoo that is usually used for wedding receptions. It is beautifully situated at the highest peak of the farm that will give you a great view of Paradizoo.



After a sumptuous lunch, we then decided to check out the Pet Cemetery, Butterfly Garden and Bee Farm.



We were lucky enough to witness how honey is extracted from the artificial beehive and how it is transferred to a jar using a manual hone extractor. I was also able to taste the honey from the pieces that fell off the artificial beehive and it was sweet indeed.



After the tour, we were privileged to meet the man behind Yupangco Group of Companies and Zoomanity Group, Mr. Robert Yupangco, that gave a brief introduction as to what made him put up all his theme parks and he also shared his upcoming projects. He also introduced all his staff who helped him manage his theme parks:



Before leaving Paradizoo Theme Farm, you might want to grab souvenirs/pasalubong for your loved ones. Check out their Discovery Shop and the Paradizoo Cafe for stuffed toys, shirts, hats, clothes, etc. They also have Guyabano and Malunggay concentrates that you might want to try out as well.



Will definitely bring the kids here soon! I'm sure they will love feeding the animals at the Guinea Pig and Bunny Village as much as I did. Just a few tips for those who are planning to visit Paradizoo Theme Farm soon:

• Bring a hat or umbrella to protect your skin from the sun's UV rays
• Wear comfortable shoes as you will do a lot of walking
• Have extra money on hand because you might want to purchase items during the tour like the carrot on a stick to feed cute guinea pigs and bunnies or buy a jar of honey at the bee farm
• Make sure that you have a water bottle on hand to avoid dehydration
• Charge your gadgets and bring a power bank to be able to capture your fun experience at Paradizoo Theme Farm
