Work can be very stressful and energy-draining and sometimes you just have to give yourself a time off to relax and have great food and drinks as you enjoy an ambiance that is far from the usual. Last Friday, December 9, I was able to unwind with a few blogger friends as I attended the Grand Relaunch event of White Moon Bar by Hotel H20.

Located at the 2nd floor of the Manila Ocean Park Complex in Luneta, the newly reopened White Moon Bar is the third food and beverage outlet of Hotel H20. During the relaunch, Hotel H20's food and beverage manager Resty Vidad pointed out how White Moon Bar can be a great venue for those who would like to hang out after office.

"Work, pollution and traffic are the realities urban professionals face daily. It pays that after a long day of hard work, you look forward to a place where you can destress and enjoy simple pleasures - delightful nature, good food, good drinks." said Vidad.



I was able to experience "destressing" at White Moon Bar and I must say that it can really be a great escape from my daily office and online work stresses, thanks to its outdoor setup located directly on top of Manila Bay which provides visitors a front row seat to one of the world's most beautiful views of a sunset with boats, ships, vast sea and of course, fresh breeze that is very calming.



After appreciating the fiery red orange setting sun, you will then love the relaxing moments as you lounge in cabanas and daybeds and gaze at the moon and stars above you. 



Of course, your stay wouldn't be complete without the carefully selected food and beverage items offered in buffet style with a grilling, carving and dessert station while listening to the Balearic beats of Cafe Del Mar, Ibiza and Buddha Bar chill-out music mixed by an inhouse DJ.



They have specialty drinks and cocktails, varieties of beer, wine, whiskey, rum, vodka, brandy and tequila that goes perfectly well with White Moon Bar's signature appetizers/finger foods such as the Supreme Pizza, Chicken Wings, Calamari Rings, Dimsum choices and even healthy food options.



They also offered their signature dishes such as the Garlic Crispy Pata and Sizzling Mixed Seafood with Garlic and Herbs that are all prepared daily by White Moon Bar's Head Chef Aurelio Delos Reyes.

I personally enjoyed the grilled meats, kare-kare and the pork belly for my main entree. I also loved their unique desserts that will surely make every sweet tooth happy.



White Moon Bar by Hotel H2o is open daily from 4:00pm to 2:00am (Fridays to Saturdays) and 4:00pm to 12:00mn (Sundays to Thursdays). I really enjoyed the whole experience of dining, partying and unwinding outdoor style at the White Moon Bar and I would like to thank Mr. Nestor Layderos of Light Network for giving me the opportunity to be part of this event.
