7 Flavors
5:03:00 PMSweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Umami, Spicy and Astringent, these are the tastes that this World Fusion Buffet/Cafe/Bakery has in store for everyone. Located at 196 A. Mabini Street, Baranggay Addition Hills, San Juan, Manila, 7 Flavors is an emerging food spot co-owned by one of the best Filipino chefs I know, Master Boy Logro.
I must admit that I am not familiar with the streets of San Juan, but with the help of prayer and friends, I manage to arrive at the restaurant just in time.

Next stop, the main event! Their Buffet is located at the second floor.
Sir Carlo, one of the co-owners of 7 flavors, explained to us that since they are still on soft opening, accessories such as railings are not yet installed. But he made sure that they are already working on it since it would be a bit unsafe to use the stairs with the absence of the railings.

I find the desserts a bit dry, except for the cake with a mint leaf on top. I love that the icing has the right sweetness and its cake is moist. Hopefully they get to create better desserts soon since this is just a soft opening.

What’s a better way to end a tummy-filling event but with a group photo:

The place looks nice and the food looks good. There are so many milkshakes and cakes! Perfect for a sweet tooth like me.
ReplyDeleteThe food..oh wow..I'm speechless for these right now. I need to eat BBQ; chicken or pork with ice-cold beer. The place looks, everything with a twist!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at how affordable it was. The food looks great, and I hope I can try those Norwegian meatballs next time I'm there.
ReplyDeleteI thought I knew San Juan but I am not familiar with A. Mabini St. I will have to googlemap that since this resto looks very tempting. I wonder what Astringent tastes like?
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so delicious and filling! Hope I can drop by one of these days. Plus I've always been a fan of desserts and that Calamansi-infused cheesecake is quite intriguing!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a shame when everything is good but then the dessert ends up being dry. Don't you just hate that? And what, astringent flavor? That sounds quirky!
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice name for the 7 flavors and it's nice to know what flavors they have. They have a very cozy plus plus the food also does look good and tasty.
ReplyDeleteFood looks yummy and the name sounds very interesting "7 flavours" do they have any signature dish or drink.
ReplyDeleteI love how this buffet has a private space for families. Its also cute at how they have a separate space for their bakery. Anyway, I'm glad you mentioned that they are still on soft opening because I almost asked why the interiors kind of looked unfinished. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the pumpkin fritata! Everything looks so yummy plus theyre all so affordable! :D
ReplyDeleteThe 7 Flavours Cheesecake caught my attention! Although I'm on diet right now, it's definitely something I hope to try!
ReplyDeleteA place to consider to have a cup of coffee or a plate of pasta probably while you brainstorm or reminisce something to write about.
ReplyDeleteWow! so many dishes and so many tasty flavours you have there. I am eyeing at that calamansi-infused cheesecake. I love cheececake and have not tried the calamansi flavours before.
ReplyDeleteOoh something new to check out in San Juan! Will be in the area tomorrow. I'll see if we can drop by!
ReplyDeleteSo 7 Flavors is located in San Juan, too far from my place but my relatives wanted to try eating buffet here. How was the food? - KarenT
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck if I find the place dimly lighted, their foods seems good and I must admit I am a 'buffet' man.
