I've been receiving a lot of beauty products from Althea Korea, thanks to the exclusive group Althea Angels which gave us the chance to review different products, may it be for skin care or for make up. This time, let me share with you some of the items that were sent to me a few months ago:

First off, let's start with their Petal Velvet Sunaway: It is an ultra lightweight, invisible sunscreen that shield's your skin from the sun's rays and also ensures that your skin is hydrated and fresh, without any streaks or white cast that are usually seen when other sunscreens are applied.

The Petal Velvet Sunaway contains hyaluronic acid and damask rose extracts that causes the skin to stay hydrated and it also has an SPF of 50 + PA +++ that acts as your face's shield from the sun's rays. Lastly, it has micro-powder particles that gives your face a smooth and petal-like complexion.


Although, this is not my favorite sunscreen due to its scent and it made my face sticky and greasy due to my oily skin. To avoid this from happening, you need to partner this with any of these cuties: the Petal Velvet Powder Collection.


The Petal Velvet Powder comes in 2 shades: Translucent and Warm Beige. Luckily, I was able to try a special edition shade, which is the Pink Lavender.


It comes in a cute packaging that contains 3g of the product and a thick, fluffy puff. This product is a translucent powder that sets makeup and leaves behind a silky finish to the touch. It contains oil from Althea seeds that helps keep the sebum production on hold but doesn't dry out the skin, resulting to a radiant, fresh look which is perfect for someone like me who has an oily T-zone. I also love the smell of this powder especially the lavender.

Next product is the Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser. From its name, you would know that it is a serum and a cleanser in one product which makes it a great makeup, dirt and oil remover plus it keeps your face cool and hydrated. It also prevents the skin from drying out and the best part is it promises to effectively minimize enlarged pores for a smoother face.

It is very simple to use, just dampen your face and put a small amount of the product onto your face. Massage it in a circular motion for 5-10 seconds then rinse it off with water. I tried this and it effectively removed the dirt on my face even after I just finished washing my face.

Lastly, Althea just launched a product in collaboration with Indonesian actress and singer, Titi Kamal which is the Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist. It is a sparkling mix of sweet orange and peach followed by an ever graceful echo of rosy floral notes. I love that it doesn't have a strong scent which makes it great as an everyday mist  plus it is long-lasting that it can keep me smelling fresh on my 12hr duty.
